You have likely heard the African saying, "It takes a village to raise a child." This adage highlights the value of people helping one another with the most important responsibility a community has, that being the job of raising strong, intelligent, ethical, spiritual and responsible adults.
Within the rural state of Nebraska, 20 miles east of the state's capital, Lincoln, and 30 miles southwest of the state's largest city, Omaha, are the villages of Elmwood and Murdock. At Elmwood-Murdock, we have found two villages working closely together are even better than one!
